Continued from Day 10580…

The Kamasutra is a manual for non-Indians. I come with full features pre-loaded by default.
It’s been 10 days. I regret to say that I haven’t exactly stopped biting my nails, which was my first promise, which is sad because it gives me no hope for any further improvement. Maybe if I can go to sleep at a normal hour tonight…

Maybe if I can go to sleep at a normal hour tonight…
Yeah, no. Went to bed at 04.30 am. Great. Watched Dexter all day.
Four more days to go home.
Saturday, 11 August 2018
I finally finished watching Dexter. I wrote a separate post talking about it. I have nothing more to add here for tonight. Three more days to go home.

India lost the second test at Lord’s, by an innings and 159 runs. They do not deserve to be the No. 1 team in the world if they cannot perform consistently overseas. Speaking of India in England, on this day in 1948, independent India won its first Olympic Gold at the Wembley stadium, beating hosts England in the hockey final. The movie Gold, which is soon to be released, is based on that event.
I recently watched the trailer of Helicopter Eela. I hope I get to watch it with my mother when I go home, which is in two days!
Today was kitchen cleaning day, but now the stove isn’t working!
That’s the before and after of the high point of my day.
Monday, 13 August 2018
We managed to fix that damned stove (my flatmate Praneeth did most of the work, I’ll admit), using just a screwdriver and some electric tape. That is the only highlight of my today. I am currently waiting to web check-in my flight before going to bed.
Busy day tomorrow. Ta-ta.
The title of this post is a reference to the announcement in the elevator of the author’s department building at the University of Applied Sciences, Aachen. It means “Fourth Floor” when translated to English.
